To those of you that say Mariah Carey...
Ok...that could be true, but that's only because she is popular!
There are plenty of really good singers that could top Mariah if they had the popularity and the fan base that she does!
Personally, I can't stand her! She thinks that she has the world in her hands and she's just to cocky! It makes me mad when she acts all "Queen Of The World" and thinks everyone else is crap!
Ugh! Drives me crazy! She has no humility! Yuck!
Any how...
Greatest singer of our time!?! It's hard to tell! Ummm...
Here's a few suggestions!
Elvis
Paul McCartney
Luther Vandross
Marvin Gaye
Aaron Neville
Karen Carpenter
James Taylor
John Denver
Elton John
Billy Joel
Sting
Garth Brooks
Tim McGraw
Don Williams

This one is a tie for me, I have two of them, but they mean the same equally for and to me! The Moody Blue's Justin Hayward and H.I.M.'s Ville Valo, they both write amazing stuff and their voices can never be copied or imitated, they are that rare.

Karen Carpenter. Her voice was beautiful and no female singer has been able to come close to hers.
