I think Johnny Depp would be a million times better suited for the role. Sly is way too OLD. Or Leonardo Di Caprio could do it!

It will take someone special to fill the shoes of Charles Bronson!

I'm looking to buy Danny Kaye movies in Canada. Does anyone know where I might find them? I don't want to buy them online. Would stores like Best Buy or Future Shop carry them?

It was about a woman who moves into a large isolated house. When she first comes to town, she meets about 5 men at a gas station. They hit on her but she turns them down. After she's settled into her home, they trespass and gang rape her. She then gets revenge by killing them all. She never leaves town and this happens within a space of a few weeks. The last time I saw it was in 1992 but it looked to be a 70's/early 80's film. Thanks.

Atom Egoyan`s `The Sweet Hereafter` features a nude scene in which the emaciated female looked like an exhibit from Auschwitz.

The image sustained and then I forgot about it. That is- until I saw the images from Alfred Hitchcock`s prelude to `Frenzy`- `Kaleidoscope Frenzy` where the nude near the waterfall is an absolute precursor to Egoyan.

So how does Egoyan stack up next to Hitchcock???

For years I have watched characters on TV and movies carrying on fictional conversations and they never say hello at the start and they never say good-bye at the end. This is too common to be coincidental. Is there some kind of industry policy involved or is it that the industry has some fancy rationale involving the psychology of the viewer.....or some such nonsense.

As a kid, the "House on Haunted Hill" was really scary! I bought it for last halloween, and my kids said it was not scary at all (They also thought that the black and white made it less scary...and I thought that it made it more authentic.)

I don't understand a couple of things... maybe some of you did?

1. Why didn't he give Sam(antha) the stuff he used for that one rat (the one in the beginning of the movie that acted normal) when Sam got cut?

2. What was up with the mannequins? At first I thought they became the Zombie things at night... but still what was with the mannequins in the video store?

3. How did that one mennequin, (Fred), move out onto the
sidewalk? Was it just me... or did "Fred's" head seem to move while Will Smith drove past it?

since i already know the answer to this question, i might as well answer my own question.

1) so the writer and the director got together for a sleep over and played Doom 3, Halo, and Half Life and watched War Of The Worlds, Silent Hill, Dawn Of The Dead. and the next morning they woke up and wrote a storyline and developed the script....and guess what? it turns out to be similar to the games they played and movies they watched.

2)if you really want to go watch this movie, go ahead i can't stop you. but let me tell you that you save 4 bucks if you just go to your local blockbuster and rent War Of The Worlds since it is the same exact movie and Silent Hill

oh yeah...that Shelby GT500 came out of nowhere and disappeared into thin air

so have fun watching the movie guys and gals

I saw "a clockwork orange last" week and it was pretty strange. it got me thinking that karma/providence/whatever can come around 2-fold and what other "treatments" can be thought of to "cure" criminals?
