Shawshank Redemption...Drama?
Themes are that a man keeps hold of who he is though he is wrongfully imprisoned in a very dangerous environment. That he boldly makes all the right moves to secure his freedom, whilst screwing the bad guys.
That he remembers his friend, connects with him, helping the friend find him in the end.
He never compromises himself. He learns to get by, even acheive and do good in these unlikely circumstances.

Drama, 80% of my favorites are dramas.
Most of them has a crime theme to it.
I prefer dark themes with not so happy ending.

Mine are period movies.. That are set in historcal times,
Mostly Knight and Armor themes

Musicals.Exuberant choreography,fusion of realism and fantasy.Update of Romeo and Juliet mixed with gang warfare.Electrifying visuals.
