I've one week vacation to enjoy and I'd like to watch some movies.I love movies related to science,engineering or technology.Would you mind recommending me some?

...that the Saw series has gotten gorier and gorier as they are released?

OK, so we start with Saw I, which consists of a guy cutting his foot off as (in MY opinion) the grossest scene in the movie. Then in Saw III (skipping Saw II; I'm lazy), you're watching someone's brain get dehemmoraged via shed tools and another guys arms/legs/neck slowly get twisted out of proportion, among other things that make you go "Ugh."

Seriously, if that scene in Saw I of Amanda stabbing the guy's stomach to get the key were in Saw III instead, you would've totally seen her actually penetrating his stomach with the blade. Don't get me wrong, the Saws are incredible (Wan and Whannell just do it for me), but am I the only one who's noticed this trend in gore with them?

I'm stumped on this movie. I saw it a bunch of times on tv in the 70's & early 80's. It was about this boy who mistakenly kills a girl with a rock...or something like that. I remember she falls off her bike and hits her head on a rock. He wore red rimmed glasses.. I think his grandmother ends up hiding him in her basement from the police.. she gives him plenty of canned foods.. She ends up passing on and other people buy the house...he keeps living there and they don't know it. It's really vague but that's the plot that I remember and I can't remember much more. Help if you know this title... It's a tough one and friends I know who love movies can't remember it either.

I read that Dan Brown who wrote the book about the DaVinci Code is also going to sponsor a movie about the Masons and their relationship to the history of the USA. Does anyone know more about this (title of the movie, etc.)?

I really don't understand what all the fuss is about. The movie was OK, but nothing I ever want to see again. ...And I really like gangster movies like The Godfather and A Bronx Tale, but this movie couldn't hold a candle to them... I'm also a big Matt Damon fan, so u think I would have been biased to like the film even more, but I was not impressed. Why does everyone like it so much?

Or go to the movie first then read the book. I seem to always go to the movie first, and if I like it enough I buy the book. 2 examples for me are. The Perfect Storm and What Dreams May Come. 2 great movies and books.
