It was made a while ago and the family lived probably in the 40's. The father lost his job and went to another city because there were openings at a factory. I believe someone got killed and the father was blamed, even though he was innocent. The kids ended up going to Washington DC to speak to the president about clearing their father's name. I believe this was a true story. Every year we try to find the movie on tv, but we don't know the name. My husband doesn't think it's Robert Wagner, so I'm not real sure who the actor is if it's not him. Thanks for your help!

Hi, I'm a 17-year-old aspiring screenplay writer about to graduate from high school in 08. I'm a total, and I mean TOTAL newbie on screenwriting and I plan to read the Screenwirter's Bible sometime soon. Yes, I've watched "Dreams on Spec" and I know how hard it is for screenplay writers to get their work the exposure it needs to be made into films. About 1% get their scripts turned into films if I had to guess.

However, I have a special connection with writer/director Ed Solomon, who is a family friend; I plan to talk to him very soon about my hopes as a writer. Could this increase my chances of one day getting one of my scripts turned into a film?

For me it's Carly Simon's 'Nobody does it better,' although the latest song is a close second.

The Spy Who Loved Me was the first Bond I saw at the cinema so I supposed I'm biased.

What's your favourite and why?

I went into the movie with low expectations but I must admit I liked it. The ending left it open to a possible sequel but I don't think it did well enough at the box office to warrant making another one. What are your thoughts on the movie?

The movies I am talking about are the 1931 Dracula, the 1992 Bram Stoker's Dracula and the 1995 Dracula: Dead and Loving It (many differneces due to it being a comedy)

Do people really like this movie, or do they just say they so because it's supposed to be a "classic"? I found it incredibly tedious and far-fetched (the way the characters keep running into each other in the biggest country in the world), but not a total waste, because of the ravishing Julie Christie. Any opinions about this extremely long LONG movie? Is this really a "love story," when the main character was cheating on his perfectly nice wife? I didn't think so.

Is there any film you ever watched just because you love the actor in it? I can watch anything with Jack Nicholson, Tom Hulce or Bill Murray in them. Anybody else do the same?

There's this part where one of the lead guys (I think) is shaveing a little girl's face, because she wanted to see what shaving was like. The she said something like "I'll always remember the first time I shaved, you did it." Anyone know this one?
