I went into the movie with low expectations but I must admit I liked it. The ending left it open to a possible sequel but I don't think it did well enough at the box office to warrant making another one. What are your thoughts on the movie?

I really liked it. Like you, I did not think it was going to be that good, but the script and the screenplpay were awesome. Broks and his conscious- how scary. For most people, the conscious is what mediates between right and wrong- his was just downright evil, but in a different way. Very interesting.

As a psychologist, it really annoyed e that he treated his love for killing like an uncontrollable addiction and would reason his way out of it by saying, "I have a disease." Groooaaaan. When addictions hurt others, especially to THAT dimension, I believe they are controllable. Still interesting idea, however, needs more research ;)
As far as a sequel, I hope they don't make one. I tihnk the end was supposed to be different than other Hollywood endings. Leaving the story in that position is PERFECT.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. The conscious guy made it seem as if it were something else giving him ideas, like a demon, devil or something. That was a pretty cool concept. Not new, but cool. And the fact that her daughter inherited his sickness is kinda freaky.

The guy that played his alter ego was excellent. I'm not a Dane Cook fan but he did a pretty good job considering it's way out of his element. I hope they make another one, I liked it.

I also did not expect much, I rented it a few weeks ago just so I would have something to do, but I really enjoyed it. The acting, writing, everything was excellent.
