i really don't like seeing people get killed in front of me. I know it's fake blood and all. but it could have been better without those gory scenes. it was a great film. great story. they should've known there were kids watching it. I watched it with my nephews and i told them to cover their eyes when it came to the scenes. I loved it but i don't think i have the courage to see it again.

Everything lately is just extreme gore, barely any plot, or charecter building and certainly nothing scary.

The last scary movie I can remember was the Ring and it was a remake by the time most of us in North America got it.

Even the earlier "gore movies" like Nightmare on Elm Street or even Friday the 13th were scary. The rest of the series may have sucked but the first were excellent movies.

I'm pretty sure this movie was made in the 80s.. i remember watching it in the early 90s as a kid.. for some reason the words pumpkin king and jack o lantern come to mind... those might be wrong and throw you completely off.. but the kid had a pumpkin head... it wasnt charlie brown, or pumpkin the horror movie... it was like a halloween movie... can ANYONE remember it??

1)theres a man who discovers away thaatwith injecting the liquid in the spine of any one to his body he can see what is in their memory,he used this method to find the murdrer of his wif & he was wrongly convicted of killing her wife & in the end he succeeds to prove himself innocent but he goes in a comma .
2)a man & a woman go to a trip where some ppl modify his car & a man with truck seemingly innocent comes to help so the man let her wife /gf go with him & bring help for the car but she never comes back so the man goes looking for him & at the end of the movie he finds the villians' house & he finds out that they wanted to sell the heart & things inside the body of his wife/gf i think its name is sth like distruction .
3)ive seen a video clip of one of jim carrey's movies,hes with 2 other man all pretending to b stupid & they go to wedding party & ceremonies & they move their head all the time & they are kicked out of every plce caz they ruin their ceremonies & this song of "what is love "is played all the time.
4)theres a boy who gets to a school where some boys are kind of rulers there they hurt every body at last hes the only one who acts against them & gets fired ofcorse ,his father is not a very good man either he hurts his mother & he wants to hurt him in the end of the movie but he doesnt let him & shows his real strignth & tells him i will use it if i have to.

I remember watching this as a child, early 90s, maybe made late 80s possibly early-mid 90s. I can't remember a lot about it. I remember it had some rabbit siblings. Maybe a stray dog came to live with them or something. And i seem to remember like a field of some sort. Them running through it. Running from something. Maybe a hunter. Maybe a fox. I also remember A little girl at the end in a truck driving by. It was her puppy that was lost. When the puppy had to leave the rabbits it was really sad. Please help me!

Its based on the triology by Philip Pullman called The Golden Compass, and in the last book *the movie coming out is a watered down version of the first book* two children seek out a way to kill God so they can do whatever they want.
(Also, Pullman said that was what he was trying to do in the book.) This obviously means there will be a second, and third movie made based on each book and the third we need to fight against.

If you think they have a right to make this, you're right, but its offensive, and we as Christians, Catholics, and even Muslims have the right to fight against it.
So don't waist your time posting annoying answers and opinions about us being whiney, and not respecting their right to a religious opinion.
Yes you have a right to YOUR opinion, but this question is being asked more towards parents, and Christians who find this offensive and who would like to see it taken off.

Is there anything we can do to get it banned, or at least taken off??

what are some things that u think should have made it into the harry potter movies?? one thing that comes to mind is the ghost history teacher and nearly headless nicks death day party...... that would have been cool..... plus the ghosts....... peeves and the bloody baron are only in the first movie for like 3 seconds...... whats up with that?? so what do u think??

My favorite is # 1 and i liked #2 and # 4 but my most favorite was #1. The one i hated the most was 3 because that was soooooooooooooo stupid!!!! i hated that movie sooo much. it was like if you watched the commercial about the company that made your halloween mask and wore the mask while watching it bugs would eat your face. Thats probably not really what its about but thats what i got out of it. But yeah i really like # 1 thats my favorite.
