I'm just curious to know how many of you know about this low budget gem. (this isn't a movie for film snobs lol)

...oh, heck yes!!! Much like at a drive-in theater, where they would show a a first -run main feature, and then a similarly associated minot-league feature, "The Stoned Age", if played as a drive-in, would be a great minor leage feature, immediately following "Dazed and Confused"...
...a most underappreciated film, albeit a bit more wacky, as compared to "Dazed..."; I'm glad someone else out there saw it, besides me...

Yes, I am a fan of "The Stoned Age." :)
I always love the part when Joe reminices about the spotlight being on his head at the Blue Oyster Cult Show, and the giant eye.
