'Ghost Story' was most excellent as well. Thanks for making me remember 'The Changeling'!!!!! I used to watch it with my sister! Gotta find it now! ;P

The Haunting (1963)
For me, it rules supreme!

Others on my favorites list are:
Lady in White
The Uninvited
The Changeling
Nomads
The Frighteners
The Fog (original)
13 Ghosts (original)
Ring 1 & 2
The Grudge 1 & 2
Poltergeist 1-3
The Time of Their Lives
High Spirits

Actually, "Ghost Story" isn't about a ghost. She's an elemental, not a ghost. Of course, they ignored that part of the novel, so she is misrepresented, causing a lot of confusion to theatergoers as to how a ghost could lead such a lively life. The twist of the title is echoed in "Poltergeist", in which they are being haunted, not having problems with a poltergeist. Both are misleading titles.

If you mean as in not scary, I would have to go with "GHOST." If you mean scary, I would have to go with any of the Poltergeist movies. I really funny Ghost movie that a lot of people don't seem to remember starring Peter O' Toole is "High Spirits."
