Halloween 2.
It shows most of the best parts from the first movie at the begining.
It has all the original actors from the first movie.
It continues the same night as the first movie.
It answers questions and poses new ones!
I saw it the day it came out, before I saw the first one, so it's my favorite. I've always considered the first and 2nd Halloween movies as just ONE movie. Gotta love 'em! ;P

Usually the first movie in a series is the best. Nightmare on Elm st, Halloween....etc ..etc. The first one everyone remembers.

The original "Halloween". Unlike the sequels it relied more on suspense and atmosphere rather than blood, gore and "body count".

I would have to say the 5th one, mainly because the acting is really bad and all the really stupid people end up dieing.
