Movies - 1 September 2007

This one's a little vague but I'll try to narrow it down. Late 70's maybe early 80's. The quote is: "Oh Tommy(?), don't eat that, it'll make you sick." I think it was Louise Fletcher saying it, and possibly to Brad Dourif, who was sitting on the floor eating the brain or some other organ of a human being (fellow patient?). Brad Dourif, (if it was that actor), didn't realize he was doing this and was possibly in some type of mental ward. I believe there were some worms floating around in between his psychosis, but I may be confussed with an episode of Star Trek TNG on this part. I think the movie had something to do with time/reality jumping...maybe? I've checked on IMDB but can't find it. This has been bugging me for awhile, anyone got an idea?

All I remember is the main cast was a bunch of girls who were involved with the occult. And there was a scene where they were doing a tarot reading and one of there readings was The Devil? And it had demons and was very occult.

it's a movie about a woman and her husband and how he abuses her.
In the middle she ends up faking her death and running away. He finds out because she told him she couldn't swim but she'd been taking swimming lessons and he found out. So he found out she saved herself and was alive somewhere. The girl also finds another guy she likes and starts getting close with him but then pushes him away. At the end she finds out her husbands been following her around her new town because she notices her towels arent how she has them usually. they're how he used to always have them a certain way. Then they're in her house at the end and she ends up killing him.


Do you have any idea as to what movie this could be? its been bothering me awhile now. any help would be appreciated :]

Whats your favorite movie? In your opinion what movie tops all others? Movies directed by Ron Howard such as the Davinci Code or A Beautiful Mind, war movies such as Saving Private Ryan, or prison movies like the Shawshank Redemption. I'm pretty sure that the greatest movie in the world is the Shawshank Redemption and Crimson Tide runs a close second. Come on now give me some feedback

i always think about this question, especially since over the past 10-15 years movie studios have decided to release a sequals rather than take a chance on an original story. There will always be an "independant" movement, but is there a chance that in the future originality will be dead?

I saw a girl at target holding something that looked like a dvd. It could have been a game, if it was, it looks more like a dvd.

1st one : A horror film I think from 80's. All I can remember is a woman (working as a nanny I guess ) and a strange tree connected to that woman ( in the final scene people killed the woman by destroying the tree and it bled a lot)
2nd one: There was a small girl who tried to contact her dead father by making strange things ,like painting herself exactly the same way as a tree or building a huge platform model from playing cards ( in the end her mother built the real size platform just to reach the girl and realized the girl didn't understand that her father was dead in the first place and thought he just fell from some place to moon ) Now by writing it like that movie just sounded too bizarre :)

I mean this movie has to be so stupid that you can't bear to watch it and if you do you will get sick. This movie has to suck so much that if you were locked in a white from with nothing else but the moive playing you would go mad. INSANE!!!!
My would have to be the hitchikers guide to the galaxy. The acting sucked, the setting sucked. I got ripped off when I paid 8 bucks to see it. There was no one in the theater

we have all seen Doors (the movie) and to a certain extent its pretty accurate in showing the excess path that Morrison was on, however it doesnt get very deep into his sensitive side, and just rest of his life in general. I think they could have done a better job than that.

This was a movie I saw a long time ago. There's a guy. His father invents a machine that can increase or decrease the age of a person. He accidently switches it on and increases his age. Then he takes the place of his principal in his school and romances his teacher. Finally its his teacher who becomes his classmate by reducing her age. Remember the name of the movie? Made long time back. Thanx.
