Movies - 1 June 2007

I have seen a lot of movies...but I need new suggestions. I am pretty open to every genre. I have a stranger taste than some though. I enjoyed the film Lolita which most people would probably be very closed to. I like American Beauty type films..I like dramas that are thought-provoking/interesting. Please give me some quick suggestions, I am on Netflix now.

it's about policeman's daughter is kidnapped. she in car with bad guy, polices in the cars and chase him. in the end, she likes him, police caught him, she took gun and tell them let him go and she left with him in the helicopter.

Are there any other movies out there like Spun and Requiem for A Dream (crazy drug movies)? Children of Men and V for Vandetta (Big Brother movies)? & Equallibrium, Ultra Violet, and Aeon Flux? Any suggestions are helpful.

I have been extremely curious to watch this movie for the longest time, and I saw a clip of it in a theology class and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I can watch movies like Saw, Hills Have Eyes, ect. but this seems like a different kind of 'scary'...what do you think? (and yes, I think I have the maturity to watch it)
