CGI's made tons more money at the box office with flicks like Toy Story, Ants, A Bug's Life, which were quicker to generate than the time consuming classics we have all come to know and love.

Actually, "Brother Bear" came out in theaters after "Lilo and Stich." If you haven't seen it you definitely should. My brother calls it a life changing experience. It's an excellent movie with a wonderful story and a great moral.

I am also disappointed that animated movies aren't being hand drawn any more. I love the look of real animation. I guess it must be less time consuming to do it all with computers, but I for one miss the old school animated stuff. Dont get me wrong, I still think the new stuff is great, but you can't beat "The Lion King" or "The Little Mermaid." Those are classic. But as long as they can make buckets of cash they'll keep pumping out the CG stuff.

producers must find CG movies more worth while. i've noticed that some cartoons have gone CG. what is the deal here? do they not recall the incredible profit they received from The Lion King? what about Pocahontas? Aladdin? Snow White? Beauty and the Beast?
maybe they want it to seem more real. little do they know, the point of these movies is that they are not real.
they just don't get it.

Art lost.
