I love Vincent Price, I can’t stand Paris Hilton, so why was House of Wax 2005 so popular? I saw it in theaters and half the people in the theater cheered when she was killed. Why remake a classic movie like that and turn it into a teenage movie with that ditz in it?

Just goes to show that movies remade are never the same or as good as the originals, especially when you throw in someone with no talent, no brains, and no acting skills whatsoever.

Whats your Opinion, I’m curious?

The movie is about a British brother and sister who want to move out of the city, but can't afford much. They find this huge house by a cliff over looking the sea. They fall for it, but know there is no way they could afford the place, but still they ask the price. The man overseeing the sell is the father of the woman who had lived there. He offers them the house at a ridiculously low price and they take it. Shortly, they notice the cold spots and that flowers wilt in certain rooms. They find the previous (now dead) owner's daughter trying to fight the sell and their living in the house. Turns out the woman jumped off the cliff with a little help from an alleged girlfriend who now runs a home for emotionallly distraught women. Soon enough the ghost is riled up and trying to get someone else to take the leap.

We sometimes get the delightful treat of watching a movie to notice a supporting character grab our attention and fascinate us with a riveting performance. My favorite is Val Kilmer who portrayed Doc Holiday in the western classic"Tombstone"(1993).I did enjoy Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp. However,Val Kilmer successfully put his own magnetic spin on the character of Doc Holiday as a pompously endearing gentleman with some of the most memorable lines in western movie history, such as:I'm your huckleberry!/My hypocrisy goes only so far./Say when!(quote to instigate a gunfight)/You sweet soft Hungarian devil(Doc's girlfriend Kate)/An enchanted moment./Wyatt,I will not be pawed at!(his drunken comment to Earp when being urged not to overindulge the night life due to tuberculoses)/Look darlin it's Johnny Ringo, the fastest gun since Wild Bill they say;should I hate'em?/Very cosmopolitan! You're a daisy if ya do!(a bone fide line the real Doc used)...and more.Choose your movie, the character, and why.

My dream and goal in life is to be a movie director. As young as i am, i have already written 2 movies and have ideas for 5. I am currently working on the beginning stages of filming one. Meaning that I'm doing try-outs with fellow "co-workers." Even though I don't have a job. One day I'm hoping to be on the big screen. If you're a director or producer (etc.) of anything. Like a TV show or movies I need your help!!!!!!! I would like to know what college you went to and how many years of schooling you had (etc). Was it hard? Is it really hard to get a job? What are some of the first steps I should take? What do I need to know? Thanks!!!!!!!!!
