BTW, do you recommend I watch them from the oldest one to the newest one ? Does the help me to understand the whole story ? Are there any storyline connections between those movies ?

i loved them all...but the last crusade is the best for me since it has this different facet of indiana jones.. the daynamics of the relationshipe of indy and his father is fun to watch and the adventure is good one...

the first movie is okay
the second one is kind of stupid
and the third one is the best - it's pretty good. Sean connery makes it a lot funnier, and the story is the best too.
You probably should watch them in order, just because that's how they were made - but there are really no storyline connections between the three, so if you wanted to watch them out of order, you wouldn't really miss anything.

Raiders of the lost Ark - Outstanding, innovative
Temple of Doom - interesting but overly silly
Last Crusade - AWESOME! The best of the lot - Due in no small part to Sean Connery's performance as Dr. Jones the Elder.

I liked them all, but think the first one was the best. The other two were just more of the same.
I'm not sure there will be a number four, as Harrison Ford is getting a bit old for that sort of thing, and has made his pile by now.

Start at the beginning of the trilogy. The Last Crusade was the best of the bunch.....Sean Connery was hilarious!

the timeline actually doesn't follow the order in which they came out. i like the last crusade the best, where they're looking for the holy grail... the temple of doom was supposed to be disgusting and i thought raiders of the lost ark was kind of cheesy.
