...a couple of years ago, I read that Universal was trying to court actress Molly Ringwald, and director John Hughes in doing a modern follow-up to "Sixteen Candles", only this time, Molly Ringwald's character is older, married and a Mom, herself, dealing with a daughter, wrought with her own personal trials, tribulations and angst....with humorous results!!!

It's weird...he's become a recluse. He doesn't direct anymore, doesn't really write anymore, and doesn't do interviews. I'd love for him to make a comeback.
