About the same time as "Scarlett" the sequel to Gone With the Wind sequel was being made, there was talk of making a tv movie (same as Scarlett) of a sequel to Casablanca.

I havent heard anything in years about the idea.

Someone's question brought it back to mind.

Does anyone know if they ever have thought of restarting the project?

What did you think of it? The stunts were a little "too much in the yeah right like that could ever happen" type. Plus Bond jokes in this more than saying trademark quotes.

On Sunday the 13th, I saw Pan's Labyrinth in San Francisco and was floored by it's sheer brilliance and beauty. I had figured that the rest of the audience enjoyed the film as well, because I could hear them laugh when I laughed, gasp when I gasped and cheered when I cheered. But then, as the credits rolled, I began clapping and soon realized I was the only one doing so!

This has happened before. I've seen plenty of great movie in theatres, and with one exception, I have never heard the applause of a grateful audience. They only time I have ever had a chance to be a part of this type of event was during the premiere of Revenge of the Sith, when the all the movie patrons gave a standing round of applause.

Are these people lazy? Apathetic? Do movies only get cheered on at premeirs? What's the deal here?

3. Yes, honey. The schmuck, who deserves to die, worries about you.
4. I'm so glad they still work. I haven't used them for kissing in such a long time, more like for wearing lipstick... and whistling.
5. Can I email it to ya when I figure it out?
6. I'm like the dumb girl that doesn't get it. I've never been the dumb girl before. It ain't so great.

the movie was set as a mock televised news broadcast, CVN News broadcasting basically the last 15 days before a full scale nuclear war, banks are collapsing, big trouble in the middle east, etc. ... "Looking Glass" becomes the name of Air force One in any situation where the pres. and others must escape in order to direct the military. it was a great movie! with some real footage. I think I saw it around 1998-99 and possibly on pub. television. I cant find it anywhere.
