Movies - 7 December 2006

Ok this has been driving me crazy for a long time. There is a movie that has to be at least 10 years old and I don't remember all the particulars but someone has been receiving threatening letters or something with a typewriter that has a distinctive way it types a certain letter. --SPOILER ALERT---Anyway, the main character finds a typewriter in a closet at the end, types the distinctive letter (it might be a "J") with it and figures out it is the typewriter that the villian has been using and then realizes it was her boyfriend or some other man close to her that was typing the letters all along. I know that's not much of a description but does anyone know what movie I'm talking about?

I have been looking all over for this movie. I remember watching it when I was younger and I loved it. I looked at the library and they didnt have it. Then I looked at Walmart and some other stores around here and still couldnt find it anywhere! Any help would be very much appriciated . It is as if this movie never exsisted but I loved it! Thanks for any help!

I watched this movie a long time ago. Maybe ten years ago. I was still a child. I do not remember to much about this movie. The only things that I can remember is that this movie is about people that live in a town. But the weird thing is that everyone has special powers. But this people are evil. They were good before but something gave them powers to do bad things. There are only a few people in this town that do no have powers. There is a guy who does not have powers but does something that brings the other people to normal. There is also a child who is in a wheelchair that does not have powers as well. I don't know the name of any actors.
