It is based on the book of the same title. It is about this orphan named Anne who is adopted by an old woman and her brother. She's really smart and is a dreamer, and she gets into all sorts of predicaments. Great book/ movie from my childhood. *sigh*

She is quite a tomboy. learns to love and all the growing up things.
I think she moves in with her aunt or someone and goes through her whole childhood and than to adulthood and than coming back home when the Aunt dies.

it's about a stubborn girl that grows up and learns about friends, and family. The movie is realllyyy long though, like 3 different ones a couple hours each.

it is ok i guess enjoyed it more though when i was little....itz just like the books Gilbert is very cute in the movie and anne is ver y proud she gets adopted frm the orphange by a brother and a sister thats up in there years...itz about her life mostly and her adventures with her best friend Diane....

If I recall it is about a girl who is not afraid to take risk. it is a cute move. You just have to see it for yourself, there are many parts. I think all girls can relate to her one way or another.
