The movie Eragon is based on the book by Christopher Paolini... it is fantasy and he came out with a sequel called Eldest.

No it is based on the first of a trilogy of books written by Christopher Paolini..........I read the first two and am anxiously awaiting the third!!!! And I cannot wait to see the movie! Great writer!!! I think he was only 15 years old when he wrote the first one!!!!!

No, its based a book by a young writer Chirstopher Paloni. If you like to read go out and get the book, its great.
