What movie is this line from? It is really killing me.

the exact quote is "I am not fired, I am quit." I dont know where it is from. It was said with an accent. I am thinking short circuit but I am not sure.

Paulie. The line is said by Tony Shaloub.
The movie is about a parrot who can talk (not repeat) and is talking with a janintor (Shaloub) about how he came to be locked up in a science lab. He was trying to find his first owner, Marie.
(Shaliub's character was I believe Russian)

James Stewart said it in one of his old old movies
and I doubt it was new then.

Fred Flinstone said it to Mr. Slate countless times in that original cartoon.

I wouldn't be surprised if it came up at least once on the Honey mooners too.

Jim Carey said it too - but he said it better (probably the canadian angle )
