Anyone out there fail to see the humor of Adam Sandler? How does this second-rate, talentless dope continue to make movies? Is there an audience for his toilet humor and insulting ways? His success is an indication of how far we've fallen. Forty years ago this idiot would be working at a burger joint, not making movies.

I've a twisted sense of humor, an appreciation for irony, and a fairly sentimental soul. But whenever my missus turns on the tube, it's always these god-awful, super-sacharrine, syrupy made-for-TV flicks either on The Hallmark Channel or similar tripe. The kind where you can predict the ending within the first 10 minutes of the movie, complete with the stereotypical plot devices such as the terminally ill wife or child, the disgruntled person who gave up on Santa/Jesus/power-of-love/etc, and the angelic intervention that will save Christmas in the nick of time.

I mean, if you can stomach that stuff, you're a tougher hombre than me. But for the more jaded and gritty types, any thing you'd recommend?

could you please help me with this movie name? ok so this movie is about a girl who dances every night in bar. she meets this guy and they love each other, but he doesnt knows that she is a dancer in the bar. when he knows they broke up i think, but at the end they get back together.
and also there is a song - video about that movie. in the video the singer is singing in bar and dancing, then the girl from movie joins them.
could you please name the movie and the song.

Ok. This is not a question. But I just wanted fans of Michael Myers to know this. I read a question recently here that was asking who would win? Michael Myers or Jason V (Don't know how to spell his last name but I am sure you all know who I am talking about.). Well, obviously Michael got the most votes. But I just wanted to let people know there is a short film that was done really well by a group of young people called Friday the 31st: Michael Vs. Jason and I watched it and it was awsome. Is it very gloomy rainy and dark like its forshadowing the dark story line or does it have sunshine and "hopeful" weather. Its been while since I watched it. the other night, i was watching this pretty old movie Memento, about this guy who supposedly have short term memory. i find the plot pretty confusing. and is it true that the main character killed his wife and conditioned himself to remember something else? i feel like throwing up after watching the movie; its confusing but mesmerizing nevertheless. the black and white scenes alternating with colored scenes. who can enlighten me what this is all about?
