I was a martial arts movie buff so my list would be:
Karate Kid, American Ninja, Bloodsport, Revenge of the Ninja
...and for other categories:
Transformers the Movie, G.I.Joe (starring Cobra La), Thundercats (starring 3 new thundercats), Flight of the Navigator, and Arthur the King (starring Liam Neeson as a lecherous barbarian!)
But the best 80s flick for me was Rocky IV. This had everything.. face-off between U.S. and Russia, death of Apollo, and Ivan Drago and his 2000+psi "freakish strength"!

Top Gun, Vision Quest, The Breakfast Club, but my absolute favorite was Jumpin Jack Flash with Whoopie Goldberg - it's so funny!
