How many of you empathize with Anakin Skywalker? I personally found him to be the most empathetic character and walked out of the theatre crying thinking about how I would do the same thing if I were in his position. Who wouldn't sell their soul to the devil to try to save the one they love from dying?

They speak too fast. Mumble. Whisper and often in a nasel tone.
I don't think RADA was on the right track in the UK years ago, but although I have spent a lot of time in the States and love American films mostly. I simply cannot understand many of them anymore!
Half America eg the Mid-West must find it hard also......
And US distributers have the sauce to re-dub our films when they are released over there saying they can't understand English English!

I know that "Heaven's Gate" was one of the biggest movie bombs of all time. Can anyone tell me why? What happened? Is there another movie disaster you can name that was worse? And why? I am just very curious because how could people invest millions into something so bad!

In your part of the world, do you pronounce it 'Cara-be-An' or 'Ca-rib-bee-an'? ;-) When Billy Ocean had a big hit in the 80s with 'Carribean Queen' he release 2 versions where he pronounced it differently in each version, for cultural reasons. He even did a 3rd version called 'African Queen' with same lyrics except the one. So, which way do you guys pronounce it and tell us where you're from so we can know who pronounces it which way? Thanks :-)

I have a 3-year old. TV is limited, but I'd like to find some movies that he would enjoy for some movie nights. He's scared of a lot of the disney-type movies where there's an evil character. Little Mermaid, Nemo, Monster Inc. etc are just too much for him. He does like a cute Babar movie, some Pooh, Curious George.

What's with these G movies being so loud and over the top? Cars was way too harsh for him.

Any suggestions?
