I've noticed, either they have 1 parent or no parents.

I agree with Grit, disney movies sometimes make the people not have parents, which will make you feel bad, aslso for a viewer who is watching and only has one parent also, they will feel not left out. (Touching, isn't it?) Oh, haha and did you also notice in most all Disney movies they have the same 'message', yeah the same old one; stay true to yourself. Hahaha.

not in all Disney movies but yes in most of them.. just so as to give justice to the characters and the moral of the story. notice that most stories/characters end up happily, that's why Disney creates a plot wherein characters will first experience some challenges in real life, such as having a single parent or no parent at all. This will make them a stronger individual in moving on with their quest in life until they find their own happiness in Love (that even though they grew up with no parent or with 1 parent, the one that's meant for them is just waiting out there). It all evolves on Love, and the concept of being Loved

It's so you as the viewer will feel sorry for the character.
Disney still thinks that people who don't have a perfect family are tragic. Go figure.

Where I live, it is unfortunately the normal thing for children to have one parent.

in sleeping beauty she has both her parents , but as far as others your right I have not noticed that before , you have a keen sense of observation
