I noticed that when Bruce Wayne appears as Batman in "Batman Begins", his voice becomes much more menacing and gravely. Was this the vocal efforts of Christian Bale, or was something used to change his voice?

All I remember is an elf that made his own powered sled without reindeer and santa had to save him on his sled in the end. I also think there might have been a little boy that didn't believe in Santa Claus. What movie is it?!?!

a couple months ago i saw this preview for a movie and i don't know what the movie was called... i'm about 80% sure the movie was about gymnastics... either that or boxing. anyway, this guy is involved in some sport (gymnastics or whatnot), and something happened where he couldn't participate in it anymore. and i'm pretty sure during part of the preview it was snowing, if that helps. and the song they played during the preview was sia-breathe.

It was OK, not on par with the best of Pixar (Toy Story 2, The Incredibles), but it contained one joke that may be the funniest thing I've heard in a movie in a long time. It goes like this:

Lightning McQueen: "Doc has three Piston Cups!"

Mater: "He did what in his cups?"

Read it out loud, then feel free to laugh your balls off.

Why do you see films like Lord of the the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean and many others getting so much money in so little time?
Why do people want to watch the movies?
Is it because they're BIG? Because of the grandiosity of the story? Like Lord of the Rings?
Or is it the "cool" characters in peculiar situations?
What makes a movie so popular?
