Ahhhh... I remember the film and the era of films... let's take a walk down memory lane.... we'll have to remember actors like Corey Haim and Feldman.... River Phoenix. Movies like Better off Dead, Chances Are (Robert Downey Junior before he became a trainwreck), all the other John Cusak movies (can't think of that really good one right now...), Encino Man, The Lost boys.... Stand by Me.... ah, the good old days....

Ive got the box set of the breakfast club, weird science and sixteen candles. Wow, take me back to the eighties please!!!!
There were so many good films in the eighties. I think I must have more eighties films than anything else in my DVD collection. Back to the Future, Gremlins, Ferris Bueller, The Goonies there are so many to list.
I loved the eighties and still do, its retro heaven.

"What would you little maniacs like to do first?"...LOL!
Great movie! My favorite character was the big brother played by Bill Paxton! This movie is part of me as well as 'The Breakfast Club', 'Pretty In Pink', 'Sweet Sixteen', 'Fast Times At Ridgemont High' and I could go on and on, but these are the ones that really mattered to me at the time! :-)

I loved that film. I am also amazed that the great Bill Paxton got his career launched by playing Chet. If that's all I'd ever seen of him, I'd would have thought he's too much of a jerk to play any kind of sympathetic character.
Sure glad I was wrong on that one.

"It's your son, Gary!..."
"Just your regular little suare, chips, whips, party dips, a little hot wax on the nipples..."
"And then she kneed me in the groin..."
"What's a hot doll like you doing with a couple of malakas like this?"
"You really need to shower with them..."
"How about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ash tray."
"You are walking around in ladies panties, for goodness sake cover yourself up..."
"Warn me if you float an air biscuit."
There are so many interesting lines in that movie.
You should also watch Top Secret and Real Genius while you are at it. They form an odd but excellent combination. You should also pull out Sixteen Candles for the Farmer ted humor.

One of my all time favorites. I still remember the line where the one friend accuses the other of "Laying Wolfbait".
There were a lot of great comedies at that time, "Sixteen Candles", "Breakfast Club" etc....

It was okay. Discreet with the gratuitous sexual allusions but okay. One of Robert Downey Jr.'s first appearance. Overall, it was one of quite a few of promising films with fresh new talent. Like any film, it had it's weak spots.

Yes it is one of my favorite 80's teen flicks. The part when they go to the bar is really funny. Watch it. It's good for a couple of laughs.
