I stopped my Netflix membership and now I don't have a good place to look for movies before I go to Blockbuster. Any good suggestions on recent releases (comedies or indies mostly, well, actually, just not action) that I should keep an eye out for?

For example, the movie Cars and Pirates of the Caribeean are being advertised by Mcdonalds.

The movie Antbully is being advertised by Burger King.

How do they choose which ones to advertise their movies?

At least a few years ago, I watched a 2-night special movie on one of the major networks and I'm trying to find it/remember what it was called. It was like a modern day fairy tale but with a twist because it was a bunch of different stories rolled into one - the main character was a woman who lived in NY and ended up getting stuck in some magical land with a man who was the "wolf." He ends up falling in love with her on their journey and buys her a ring in this place where people fall in love and it is a pearl ring that sings, literally. It ends up falling into the water and getting eaten by a fish - where it turns up later in the main characters meal. There is a wicked witch trying to find them and a magic mirror that transports them from real life to the magical land. They also enter a Little Bo Peep paegent somewhere in there...I know this is a stretch but if anyone knows what I'm talking about I'd really really appreciate it!!! Thanks so much.
