Yeah, yeah, I know that it's a cartoon and that cows can't really talk, either. The udders on display really bother me, though.

While the term "cow" generally refers to cattle in a gender-neutral fashion these days, in the past the term only referred to female cattle. Male cattle can be called steer, ox, or bulls, depending on when they are castrated.
Imagine a picture of a bull, then make that a little weaker and you have an ordinary male "cow". They all have horns and NO udder.

I thought that even bulls had udders, hmm.. I really don't know, but if bulls don't have udders, then why do human males have nipples? Hmmm.. I think all cows/bulls have udders/nipples but only the females use them for their babies.. maybe.. I could be totally wrong, but I've never seen a cow/bull without udders.

I noticed that too and thought it was so weird. The main cow in the trailer has udders and a male voice. What's up with that?

Among cattle. males are either bulls or steers females are cows for a "male cow " to have an udder would require some kind of bizarre sex change operation............Wouldn't that make a strange cartoon?

yes and no. If the movie showed a big udder, they don't have that, but like all male mammals they have small teats , that if they were female , would develop into a larger udder.

no they dont have udders, the dont produce milk either so dont plan on trying to get some from a bull anytime soon

I saw that on a commercial yesterday and it was so funny! I just think they can't have a cow or a bull with a penis in a children's movie. That would create quite a storm.

Well since there are NO males cows, then it is NOT POSSIBLE to have udders now is it? A male cow is called a BULL. And they DO NOT have udders.
