My (now) husband asked me that when we first started dating and I admitted my "guilty pleasure" was reading Archies Comics. Why did Mickey Mouse have to have a high pitched voice? Me and my father both have high pitched voices. Since I was a kid people bully me because of this. My nickname was Mickey since I was 14 years old... I've written hundreds of letters to the Disney Co asking if they could lower Mickey's voice. They didn't reply once!! Can you believe that? It's not that i'm doing this just for me, but also for all the other individuals in the world with high pitched voices. I wish Disney would be more sensitive to people like us. Disney destroyed my life and many others'.

Mickey Mouse is portrayed as a black mouse (while mice are normally white). Donald Duck is white. Donald Duck is kinda stupid and has speech problems while Mickey is the clever one.

So what's Disney trying to say is that blacks are more smart than whites. Why would he say that? I thought Walt was a nice guy?

I call it positive discrimination...
