ever Shaggy and Scooby went to look for the ghost/phantom/ghoul etc....what Fred/Daphine and Felma got up too?,,cos you didn't see them until towards the the of the cartoon..me finks getting up to some Hanky Panky in the back of the Mistery Machine.

i believe that the boring answer is that the script writers and animators didnt have enough stuff for them to do.
but i do like your theory.

why does george zippy and bungle like with a very camp man like geoffery?

and more important of all.....

Yeah,I never tripped off of that before but now that you mention it,that does look mysterious.Shaggy and Scooby do all the hard work and Fred,Daphine and Velma was off doing whatever.
