In the past two days I've encountered three people who spelled it "Wendsday" -- the way most people pronounce it.

Since mediocrity is becoming increasingly harder to combat, should we just throw in the towel and give up?

Oh, and when I clicked the "Check Spelling" link, it didn't catch "Wendsday" as a mistake. Should I start hunting for a cave to go live in?

They appeared at the Pearly Gates before St.Peter, who said, “I would like to ask you a question each, before you enter heaven”

He asked the first nun, “Who was the first human that God created?”

“Adam,” she answered promptly. The music of harps was heard, the gates opened and angels appeared to escort her in.

He asked the second nun, “Who was the second human that God created?”

“Eve.” The music of harps was heard, the gates opened and angels appeared to escort her in.

St.Peter turned to the third nun, and asked, “What were the first words that Eve spoke to Adam?”

The third nun mentally went over all the sacred,holy books, all Testaments, chronicles, parables, everything but could not remember any reference to any dialogue between Adam and Eve. While St.Peter waited patiently, she racked her brains furiously but failed to come up with any answer.

Finally, blushing and looking sheepishly at St.Peters, she said, “ Gosh! That’s a hard one!” The music of harps was heard, the gates opened and angels appeared to escort her in.

We were watching 300 and she got so into the killing and fighting scenes that she chugged her water... then threw the bottle against the wall as she yelled, "AUUGGGGG!" (seriously)
I thought that was the hottest thing... ever.

ok,i saw a show on t.v. where a father was a huge star wars fan and he wanted to take his son to the star wars convention but he thought it was geeky...long story short... the son ended up going and they went in full costume there was also alot of people there with very detailed costumes as well
so i wanted to know do people dress up like there favorite hooror movie character at horror conventions
also have any of you been to one of these things and was it fun?

I know alot of people will say Chris Adler from "Lamb Of God" (which is totally valid), but I'm going to say Bran Dailor of "Mastodon", because not only is he pretty nasty with the double bass pedal (which is really only one technique, remember this people...), but he does some of the fastest, most intricate, jazz-metal fusion fills I've ever heard.

What say you?
