My friend is having her 22nd birthday tonight and all my friends are getting dressed up and going out for it. I really want to go, but I just got in a car accident while driving home from school yesterday, and am now wearing a neck brace. is there some way i could make it look ok? like a scarf or something? or should i just not go?

One of my children's all time favorites, which I cannot find yet on DVD is: The Snowman.
Dug out the VCR tape, one of the few remaining ones we own, and the younger Grand children love the movie too.
The movie won an academy award, probably for the artwork, and is based on the book by the same title; by author Raymond Briggs.
The childrens' favorite snack was graham crackers and milk. They usually sunk at least one cracker, so each had a spoon (to get the boats out of the river of milk) for each sunk cracker.

He chose to end his life with a gun. Brother Terry and I recorded the song at home. I sing and play the guitar and he plays keyboard & sings backup.

How would you rate the song on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest rating? I would appreciate any and all answers. My brother and I are in our late 60's, so we're not looking to break into show business, but were wondering if this is a song worthy of being recorded by professionals.

Yesterday while driving home from school i got in a car accident. i was admittedly going a little too fast and hit black ice. i went smashing into the snow covered guard rail and it took off a chunk of the bottom of my car, then i went spinning back out into the middle of the insterstate, my car facing the opposite direction. i am fine, i just had a concussion and neck pain. but i was really excited to come home for christmas and for some reason i have lost all my spirit. i have no car, i willy probably get a speeding ticket, and it was just a bad way to start off the holiday with my mom, whose name the car is under. i don't know why but i feel depressed now. i feel like my mom is mad at me, and i just don't care for christmas at all now. not sure what to do?

In your opinion, what has been the worst thing of 2007? It can be a fashion, style, artist, tv show, person, cultural issue, etc. You know, the kind of thing that ends up on a documentary on VH1 where they get comedians to comment on it, or the kind of thing people write in history books and all the future generations will mock us for.

As I recall, there was a professional drinking contest run ever year out of Venice Italy and the winner for several years in a row was a local Italian guy.

Well as you would have it, one day an American tourist was passing through and he heard about this world champion drinker. So he challenged him to a unsanctioned drinking match.

Now no one was aware of this, but the American was a major league alcoholic. So they had their contest and when it was all over, the American tourist had drunk the Italian under the table.

First time in recorded history that anyone ever drank a Venetian blind.
