My friend is having her 22nd birthday tonight and all my friends are getting dressed up and going out for it. I really want to go, but I just got in a car accident while driving home from school yesterday, and am now wearing a neck brace. is there some way i could make it look ok? like a scarf or something? or should i just not go?

Oh, you poor thing... Sorry to hear it.
No, don't go. Stay home and don't risk being jostled. Rest, you can see her, and have laughs another time. Get stronger -- for what's important... through the weekend, and into Christmas (especially for last minute things). Worrying about what it looks like, shouldn't be your thoughts.. because you're beautiful even with a neck brace. But, you shouldn't press your luck, having been injured -- especially if the accident wasn't your fault, and you need to not have anyone saying that you re-injured yourself tonight during so-so (and that can be backed up by witnesses).

Hon, if you WANT to go, you are so beautiful just wear whatever you were going to wear. The neck brace simply will not matter. If you don't feel up to it, stay home and relax. You are stunning, really and a neck brace cannot change that, not to mention you are absolutely lovely inside. Hugs and get well soon!
Just don't drink while taking the pain meds... give them to me instead! LOL and j/k!!

Hi sorry for car accident, Your idea is perfect,it will look nice also and cover neck brace also.But be care full with bumps,it can painful,have fun.

Don't you think your friends will just be happy you're okay and happy you could be with them? Are they going to shun you for having a neck brace? Go, enjoy life... have a good time and be happy your injury isn't worse!

Use some common sense here now! There will be plenty of parties to go to in your life. One party is not going to make or break your world, is it? Stay home Rozd and get some rest :)

You could go for a short while to show your friendship. They will be sympathetic to your accident, and then yu can leave after a brief sharing of feelings. They will be happy that you showed up.

If you try to cover it up you will go from looking like someone who's been injured to looking weird!
I think the injured look is way better. Just do it ! :o)

sure you should go and it is ok and you can tell him that he or she was very important to you that you get there at any case even when you are in after accident condition.
