I am making videos that I would like to post onto youtube, and all of my attempts to ask permission from record labels to use their music as background audio have resulted in nothing (no reponses to any of my emails).
I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a source of music that is without copyright that I can use as background audio, and will not get in trouble for copyright infringement.
Is there a website, or any kind of a source where I can buy or download such music. I would prefer rock, but I am open to other types of music.

When I was a young man I got mad at that song and thought the guy didn't know what he was talking about. But now as a middle aged man the song is a very different song to me all together!
