planning an up and coming solo album and got the feelings of a Gwen Stefani type ordeal coming out of it.

Are there any artist that left a band to have a more successful solo career WITHOUT totally changing their musical style.

In the Bourne Supremacy when Bourne gets shot in the left shoulder blade by the Russian operative from the bridge, but gets up and carries on, despite already having a leg injury. Me and my friend was womdering how difficult it would be to carry on having being shot there and with the leg injury to then drive a car and do whatever else he does without passing out. Would any soldier be able to do that, or is it just someone as tough as the Bourne character that could without showing no signs of pain?
