Filming on the second X Files movie is to begin on 10 December, 20th Century Fox has announced.
The film will see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their famous roles as alien-hunting FBI agents Mulder and Scully. Series creator Chris Carter will direct the as-yet unnamed film when production begins in Vancouver, Canada. The script, written by Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz - who also co-wrote the first X-Files movie - is being kept a close secret. All that is being revealed is that it is a "supernatural thriller" and will develop the complicated relationship between Mulder and Scully.
First of all, just how the heck are you going to develop the relationship between Mulder and Scully? That's the first thing.
Secondly, why the feck do another X-files sequel after all this time? While I did like the first film myself, it wasn't hugely successful and it was released years ago anyway.
What's going on??
