Contrary to what many people may claim the ouija board can become dangerous. For example the real story behind the book/film "The Exorcist" involved an eight year old boy who became obsessed by the ouija board. Jesuit priests spent an entire summer during the 1940's to exorcise him. Maybe the real thing you're struggling with is the uncertainty of the future. Such experiences are not uncommon especially if you are struggling with life, big decisions, etc. It's natural to desire "to control' the future. The reality is - we can't over and beyond the decisions we make each day and the care we may take to plan as best we can for the future whatever that may mean at one point. This also becomes the place where religious faith - thoughtful and searching religious faith - comes into play. We walk by light shrouded in darkness... No, not me, but my boyfriend always does. Everytime there is a big red button, he pushes it. We can be in my car, and my hazard light button is big and red, and yes, of course, he pushes, and half the time I don't realize I'm driving down the road with my hazards on.
It's amusing to say the least

Yes, I really want to press the red button. Maybe I will get lucky and it will put me back in bed. I am at work and one of my co-workers is so annoying right now!
