Techno is as AMERICAN as Apple pie! Techno is a form of electronic dance music that became prominent in Detroit, Michigan during the mid-1980s with influences from Chicago House, electro, New Wave, Funk. The FIRST techno was made in DETROIT by a AFRICAN AMERICAN group call the The Belleville Three. They were considered "FIRST WAVE". Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles were VERY IMPORTANT to the techno or afro-futurism movement. Techno is based of ELECTRO, Chicago House and Ska. Electro is made from ska, reggae, pop, punk. Funk is made from Soul. SO, WITH ALL THAT, WHy do people say the Europeans invented Techno?
Is this HISTORY APPROPRIATION?

I am looking for the name of a tv show that I watched when I was a youngin and I only remember bits and pieces of it. It is about a dad and his daughter and son somehow end up in the past with like dinosaurs I think, and they become friends with some creature, I know it isn't land of the lost I am pretty sure, because I remember the girl having dark hair and she wore glasses, I remember them living in a tree house, in the beiginning intro I remember them getting sucked in this vortex and they are in a station wagon, I am thinking it is a show in the 90's but I could be wrong. Someone please help me remember, it is bugging me.
