Well, New Burn is trying to take over jericho for its supplies and the citizens are trying to defend the town. As far as it being renewed, I think it will. It's all anyone can talk about. They killed off Johnston because the real actor who played his part has a heart condition and he had to go off due to health problems. But, he wanders on and off other shows because he has to work, he just can't do anything due to his health problems.

Besides New Bern wanting to take over Jericho?

Of course it will be renewed. I highly doubt they would not renew a show that ended that way and is that good.

I loved the actor and especially the character and cried when he died.

Edit: actually, a season two does NOT look good... see below

In season, or series-finale news, CBS’ Jericho concluded with 7.77 million viewers (#2) and a very disappointing 2.1/ 7 among adults 18-49 (#4t). As a benchmark, Jericho debuted with 11.66 million viewers and a 3.4/10 among adults 18-49 on Sept. 20, 2006, based on the final nationals. With a loss of an extensive 3.89 million viewers and 38 percent among adults 18-49 from beginning to end, chances are last night was the last you will ever see of Jericho.
