Exploding bullets?

In the movies how did they use live ammo when people was geting shot and showing them bleed once they got hit?

The bullets hit walls and explodes leaving live marking of the trace of the bullet how did the movies show just live shooting guns???

In re: to a lost library book ...can you help me sort this out??

I am a nanny to a 6 yr old boy. We go to the library once a week and check out books and dvds. From time to time, we have found these items under the couch and other places when it is time to return them to the library. Not long ago, a dvd was late and it cost them $6. Now, there is a dvd missing and the limit for late fee has been reached....$10. This family is VERY generous to me. However, after our conversation, there was a bit hemming and hawing about this matter. I wasn't TOLD to pay it, but it was not a comfortable phone conversation. We have set up a plan for the future, which I will try to follow...but mind you...I do not live with them. I have only a modicum of control.
Was this MY resposibility? Am I missing something here? Sure, upon hearing the tone in the dad's voice, I could have coughed up the money.1st off, I do NOT think it is my responsibility but also , I am going through a very bad time at present, money wise. Let me say, they are very well off.

Do you think women should have a curfew if they are out by themselves at night? (to protect them)?

I believe that if you are in a relationship, that it is a man's responsibility to protect his girl. That is why I think women should have a curfew unless a trusted guy, relative, or their man is there to protect them. Ideally, women shouldn't be out alone after the sun has gone down because that is when crime goes up and visibility goes down. However, in the winter time this might not be practical if she has a job. That is why I suggest someone accompany her to her vehicle and she drives directly home after that. If she is out with girlfriends I think she should be able to stay out til 9:30 since many places close at 9:00 p.m. on weeknights (after 9:00 it becomes more dangerous b/c there are less people to see or report suspicious activity and 30 minutes gives her time to get home). If she is out with a guy, I think she should be able to stay out til whenever he decides to come home since he can protect her. What do you guys think?
