Tom Hanks. he's just the best, no doubt about that. although i must admit that Adrian Brody was outstanding in the Pianist. then theres Jake Gyllenhaal, who was amazing in October Sky. but Tom Hanks was incredible in Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Apollo 13, You've Got Mail, and Big. he's just a really great actor to watch.

Gillian Anderson. She came from nowhere to kick the pants of everyone by starring in The X Files. Although her work seems quieter these days - the movies she does choose to do are great. It really shows her intelligence and compassion. I think she's gorgeous too.
