Do you Change it, switch it, or just ignore it?

What do you do when your trash can fills up?

I switch it.

I ignore the bin in my room most of the time. My mom cleans it out. Occasionally I dump the stuff into the recycling bin because all I have is paper in it.
The trash can downstairs is different. The only time we change the bin liners are on trash pick up days. We don't throw out enough for the bag to fill up. It's not even me who does it. My mom or dad. I never even see them changing the bags.

I take the plastic bag out of it, go outside, put it in an enormous black trash can, put the lid on it, then two bricks and wait for trash day, which is Tues.
The bricks are because I live in a rural place and all kinds of critters (and some weird folk out here) poke through my trash.

You don't change a trash can, you change a trash bag
You COULD switch it with another can but that is just like ignoring it
Or you could ignore it and let your house become gross and let yourself die from some unknown illness =)

It's magic....I will fill the trash can up and suddenly, when I come in the next morning, it is empty and ready for more. I like the trash pixies.

If I am home I ignore it and open another trash bag....If I am at my gf's place I empty it and put in a new bag

I've learned (unfortunately) that there is not a garbage fairy, so I take out the trash whenever it is full, or when something objectionable has gone in.

I have an unspoken agreement with my nextdoor neighbour. I dump the trash in his yard and he doesn't see me do it.
