I love my brother very much, but he's a deadbeat dad to his kids.

His sons are older- 11 and 16 and he never bothers to call them or anything. He doesn't keep in touch and owes thousands in child support. The 16 year old keeps contact with me and I feel like I'm the only link to his father he has. I am always careful not to talk about his dad unless he asks about him because I don't want to force a relationship on him because I understand he probably feels abandoned.
Today, my ex sister in law called and wanted my brother's phone number because the 11 year old was hurt on his bike and needed to see a dentist. She needed to know if my brother would help pay the dental bill, so I gave her the number. My sixteen year old nephew called me later to tell me his dad was rude to their mother and refused to help. I feel like I should say something to my brother, but I'm not sure it's my place. Help!

In the movie "the Official Story" (about the disappearances in Argentina) what was the significance of the two parties that Alicia attends in the beginning of the movie? In other words, what were the differences between the two parties? Also, what social class did the literature teacher at Alicia's school belong to?

Sorry if these questions are really specific. My spanish teacher wants them answered and I don't really understand the movie. Thanks for your help!

I admire each of these artists and even though they died before their time was truly up, these artists still remain some of the most listened artists,and successful artists of all time. You see, almost all of the answerers to that question say something about spending time with their loved ones in their answer. This is just a random selection of people who come together here from different parts of the world. they all speak the language of love, yet we see so much hatred going on in the world. people get killed for no apparent reason. my question is

why is the world like this? why should people who all understand love (to some extend or another) do this to each other?

and the question that was asked in the film "Blood Diamond";

Is God ever going to forgive us?
