Is there any reason in the psychology/history of Batman why he doesn't have a jet-pack or something that would enable him to fly?

Is it because they want to keep him grounded in a semi-realistic world and that would make him too much like Superman or Silver Surfer? Or, is there something that makes him adverse to flying (I mean, beside the occassional bat-rope)?

He is not limited by money or technology, right?

There was a man who walked into a bar with a parrot on his shoulder.
When he set his parrot down on the bar, he said,My parrot's name is Chet.
Want to see my him sing?"The bar tender said,"sure."
So he took out his lighter and lite it under the Chet's wing,the parrot sang,''God bless America."
Then he did it againonly under the other wing, "Land that I know."sang out the parrot.
"Let me try."said the bar tender.
So the bar tender lite the lighter in between Chet's legs, "Chet's Nuts roastig on an open fire."

a group of cheerleaders decided to put lipstick on, and kiss the bathroom mirror every day. the principal told them to stop, but the cheerleaders didn't. one day, when the cheerleaders were about to kiss the mirror, the janitor told them, "at first, the lipstick was hard to get off, but then i found a good way to get it off." the janitor dipped a toilet brush in the toilet, and scrubbed the mirror. the cheerleaders never kissed the mirror again.

I mean, some people are still driving them or have kept them in pristine condition with original parts. How did they know back then? Do you just look at a car and say, "Wow! This will be a classic someday. I think I'll buy one." Are there any cars like that currently? Not that I'm going to buy one...just curious.

Sorry NO COUNTRY! I'm trying to discover new genres of music besides hip hop, r&b, pop,and rock. I like those, but I would like to get into other styles too. Once again , I cannot stomach country music, not trying to step on anyone's toes, it's just a matter of taste!
