I thought it was brilliant episode.... watched it twice and am willing to watch it again!!
I kept laughing at everything.... the dead squirrel was funny but the cow took the biscuit! Hilarious.
Jeremy and his shower in his car aka Murder was classic... even that old blood stained blue shirt in the compartment was worrying. Just shows you that police don't give a c_rap about keeping evidence!
I loved the whole mission.... Americans and their cheese. I doubt I'll be visiting Alabama then?! That bit was scary but exciting to watch. Just hope they don't get any more dangerous missions like this one though... would hate to see any harm come to the trio.
James May does have a nasty streak when he wrote "Man Love Rules OK" on Hammond's truck. That was classic but I must admit it was suicidal!! Guess it was revenge for the sabotage they did to his air conditioning earlier on!!! ha ha
"Top Gear" is the only car programme I watch that I truly enjoy. The presenters Jeremy, Richard and James are a bunch of kids... but they work so well together to make the series a hit.
Looking forward to the next episode as well as the whole season! I don't care what the critics say.... its great viewing and is much much much better than watching boring Big Brother or Love island any day!!!
"TOP GEAR" RULES!

I thought it was hilarious. Although I do think Top Gear is moving from motoring programme to little adventures. Which I'm fine with. It's such good entertainment. I thought tonight's episode was also quite heart-warming. To see how such good friends they all are and the laughs they have, they just make you want to be there with them. I don't think it crossed the line, really. It just showed how crazy some Americans can be.
Somebody said they'd feel short-changed if they were in the audience, but I don't think that was a whole episode. They probably just filmed that at the start or end of one of the other shows. And also, it was probably filmed before Hammond's crash.

Love top gear absolutely wicked ! todays was probably one of the best Ive seen for a while! Loved the hill billies in Alabama (or should I say Alamo!!!) yeeeeeehah! Only jeremy clarkson could find a whole cow as road kill and a shower unit for the car! If only other tv programmes today were such quality - the tv licence would be well worth paying!

There is a difference between being funny and setting out to offend people gratuitously however much you disagree with their world view. Wouldn't have been so funny if one of the cameramen had been killed by their antics. Foolhardy in the extreme IMO.

Both in all honesty. Still, haven't laughed so much in ages, especially when Clarkson turned up with the cow and Hammond annouced "I'm not peeling that!"
The reaction in the gas station typifies things though - no wonder the world is so phuqed up when idiots like that vote someone like Bush in charge of the most powerful nation on earth.

Driving through the Deep South of America with "Man-Love Rules OK!" painted in pink on the side of your car is suicidal! They nearly met a sticky end at the hands of those rednecks! LOL!

They very nearly got bashed by those rednecks...I liked the way Clarkson skedaddled and left the other two to jump-start May's car...typical.
Seriously though...they could have really got hurt...would it have been worth it after Hammond's narrow escape???
Great idea to paint those slogans to wind the hillbillys up..Americans can't take a joke..that's proof.
Nascars really do suck!

I tuned in at 8:45 and all I saw was a bunch of rednecks chucking stones at the presenters and crew. What the ***k was that all about?
