We're in the very early stages of working on a Wolverine and the X-Men series," Kyle reveals. "The '90s series is the Holy Grail as far as fans are concerned, as far as where the X-Men were just at their best. And Eric Rollman, who I work with here, worked on that series, and I oversaw X-Men: Evolution from Seasons Two through Four. That was a beautifully animated series, wonderfully directed. But the direction on that series was always 9021X, and as much as we loved it and we edged it towards the sort of classic X-Men world, it never kind of got to where it needed to be in our minds as far as a true X-Men series. So with this one, we're trying to find that perfect middle ground with the great emotion and drama that Evolution had along with the classic stories and tales and elements that fans loved so much in the '90s series."

Giving fan favorite character Wolverine the spotlight is not just a marketing ploy, says Kyle, but also a way of shaking up the status quo of the X-Men world.
