old movie from 1939...give me a movie review like you would do on another website...

Jimmy Stewart stars in this Capra classic about a newly elected member of Congress. As Stewart stumbles about learing his way, he discovers a bill that will negatively affect his constituents. Typical to what we expect from both Capra and Stewart, our hero fights the system and the dirty tricks used to keep him quiet, even when it is discovered his colleague from his home state introduced the bill.
Overall a good, classic movie; but it does suffer from being too patriotic in a few places. Excellent movie to introduce youngsters and new citizens to how the government should work. 3 and half stars out of 5.
