"Stop a baby's breath and a shoe full of rice"

I get the first part, but I don't understand the shoe full of rice. Is there a special meaning behind it, or am I just being idiotic and totally missing the obvious point?

I have a slow version of this song (downloaded from Virgin Digital) which I like, but I once heard a faster more dance-y version that I can't find anywhere. Did I imagine it or is this song available in more than one version? And where can I get my little hands on it please?

Watching all the recent footage it seems to me that it is Danielle who starts all the snide comments in her little group, and then it is Jade who follows up and turns it into a confrontation. But from what I see, Danielle brings the subject up or starts the whispering ...
Jade is getting the blame but she is a mouthy person. But Danielle, with her 'butter-wouldn't-melt-in-my-mouth' innocence, is, I'm sure, the main instigator.
Does anyone else agree? What's your view?

For every war, there is a cost. You wouldn't go on ebay and pay 100,000 dollars for a used Ford Escort just so you can say "I won! I won the auction!". Yet we have no problem paying tens of thosands of lives in a war to declare ourselves the winner.
Here's a little hint for the clueless.....the 3000 soldiers and 100,000 civilians who have been killed in Iraq don't give a rat's *** who wins. They are still DEAD.

Got the dvd last night of In Pursuit of Happyness. I must just say it is one of the best films I have ever watched and I hope that Will Smith gets an Oscar for this performance. Wonderful film, brilliant acting and a great story. No guns, no killings, no drugs. Anyone agree?
