Got the dvd last night of In Pursuit of Happyness. I must just say it is one of the best films I have ever watched and I hope that Will Smith gets an Oscar for this performance. Wonderful film, brilliant acting and a great story. No guns, no killings, no drugs. Anyone agree?

I agree with you! I took my brother (13) and sister (11) to see it on saturday and we all loved it!! I think it's Will's best performance so far and his son is amazing in it. Such a great performance from someome so young!
Such an inspiring story... my brother wants to be a stockbrocker when he grows up now!

Yeah, how do you have it? I just saw it in the theater about two or three weeks ago and it is still playing here. Oh well, lucky you.
Anyway, i totally agree with you, Will Smith deserves an oscar for his performance, he did so good. And his son was great too, he will grow up to be a good actor probably. the only thing I didn't like about it was his girlfriend/wife whatever she was. she had some problems. lol.

YES!!!!!!! He should most definitely get an Oscar for it!! My boyfriend is really like, manly, when it comes to films and it nearly made him cry! Will Smith's best, I'd say. He made the audience empathise with him so well.

How do you already have it on dvd? It's still in theatres.
